The short version: we collect only what we need to reply to you, we do not sell anything, and we do not run ads. The longer version is below.

Privacy Policy
This policy explains how See Your Side (the legal entity See Your Side LLC, referred to here as "we," "us," or "See Your Side") handles information collected through the website at seeyourside.com.
This policy covers our public website only. Information processed inside the See Your Side platform at app.seeyourside.com on behalf of a customer is governed separately. See Platform and customer data below.
What we collect
We collect three categories of information, and we are specific about each because vagueness in a privacy policy is not a courtesy.
1. Information you give us directly. When you submit a form on this site, we receive what you type into it.
- Early access form: first name, last name, work email address, company name, annual home volume, organization type, primary area of interest, and any message you add.
- Contact form: name, email address, company name if you provide one, and your message.
Both forms include a hidden field used only to detect automated spam submissions. Nothing you can see collects information you have not deliberately entered.
2. Information collected automatically. Like any website, ours is served by a hosting provider that records technical request data, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, and the date and time of your request. This is standard server logging used for security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing errors.
3. Analytics information. We measure aggregate website usage such as page views and referral sources. Details, including which parts of this require your consent, are in Cookies and analytics.
What we do not collect on this website. We do not collect payment card details, government identifiers, precise geolocation, biometric data, or any special category of sensitive personal information through seeyourside.com. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. This is a business-to-business website and is not directed to children.
How we use it
We use the information described above only for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiry and continue a conversation you started
- To evaluate whether See Your Side is a fit for your organization, and to set up an account if you ask us to
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website
- To understand in aggregate how the website is used, so we can improve it
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not add you to a marketing list without your knowledge. If you submitted a form, we may reply to you and follow up about that inquiry.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have never done so and have no plans to.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. To operate this website we rely on a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf and are bound by their own obligations:
- Vercel Inc. hosts this website and processes technical request data, including your IP address, as any web host would.
- Resend delivers the notification email generated when you submit a form. The contents of your submission pass through their service.
- Microsoft 365 hosts the mailbox that receives your message, where it is stored as ordinary business email.
- Google Analytics processes aggregate usage data, and only if you consent. See Cookies and analytics.
That is the complete list. No data brokers, no advertising networks, no third-party marketing platforms, no lead-enrichment services.
We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, if necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will note the change on this page.
Cookies and analytics
We use two kinds of measurement, and they are treated differently.
Essential and cookieless measurement. We use privacy-preserving analytics provided by our host that does not set cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not build a profile of you. This runs without consent because it does not store anything on your device or identify you.
Cookie-based analytics, consent required. If you accept via the banner on this site, we enable Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies on your device to measure how the site is used. Advertising and personalization signals remain disabled at all times. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and the site works exactly the same.
You can change your choice at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the footer of any page. You can also clear cookies through your browser at any time, and most browsers offer a setting to reject them by default.
We do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, because there is no common standard for how to interpret them. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals where our providers support them.
How long we keep it
- Form submissions and email correspondence: retained while there is an active or reasonably foreseeable business relationship, and for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Server logs: retained by our hosting provider on their standard schedule, typically a matter of days to weeks.
- Analytics data: retained on the provider's default schedule, which for Google Analytics we set to the shortest available option.
Your rights and choices
Regardless of where you live, you can email us to request that we tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will respond within 30 days.
California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion, to request correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information. We extend these rights to all visitors as a matter of practice, whether or not we are legally required to.
Residents of the EU, EEA, and UK. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases for processing are your consent (for cookie-based analytics), our legitimate interest (for website security and aggregate measurement), and the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request (for responding to your inquiry). You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@seeyourside.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) across this entire website, limit access to submitted information to those who need it, and rely on established providers for hosting and email. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through a website form.
Platform and customer data
The See Your Side platform at app.seeyourside.com processes information about homes, builds, participants, and homeowner feedback on behalf of our customers. In that context our customer is the controller of that information and we act as a processor on their instructions. That relationship is governed by the customer's agreement with us and, where applicable, a Data Processing Agreement, not by this website policy.
If you are a homeowner, trade partner, or employee whose information appears in the platform and you want to exercise a right over it, contact the builder or organization that invited you, or email us and we will route your request appropriately.
